László Andor is the General Secretary of the Foundation for European Progressive Studies and a former EU-Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. He studied Economics at the Karl Marx University (today the Corvinus University of Budapest), at the University of Manchester and the George-Washington University in Washington D.C. Andor is Associate Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest and holds a Doctor Honoris Causa from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. In 2014, he was awarded with the Legion of Honour by the French President.
