Liam Byrne

Liam Byrne was first elected as a Member of Parliament for the Labour Party in 2004. His positions in parliament include sitting on the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee and chairing the All Party Parliamentary Group on Inclusive Growth. He previously served as a Cabinet Minister under Gordon Brown, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, and Chief Secretary to the Treasury. He has been a member of the Labour Party since the age of 15.
