Niina Malm was elected in 2019 to Member of Parliament for the constituency of South-East Finland and in 2020 to 1st Vice Chair of the Social Democratic Party of Finland. Malm serves in Parliament as a member of the Committee on Working Life and Equality, a member of the Committee on the Environment, and a Deputy Member of the Committee on the Future. Malm has also served as a representative of the Metalworkers' Union at the Union Congress and as a federal councilor.
