Cathryn Clüver Ashbrook is a German-American political scientist and currently Executive Vice President at the Bertelsmann Foundation in Berlin. She was previously director and CEO of the German Council on Foreign Relations and worked as co-founder and executive director of the Future of Diplomacy Project at Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. She is a non-resident fellow at the Agora Strategy Group AG and the Global Public Policy Institute and focuses on transatlantic relations and in particular the role of cities in international relations.
