About the Session

Urban progress needs infrastructure. Whether public transportation and affordable housing or transatlantic networks to exchange best practices, now is the time to build for a more just future. This session will explore how urban alliances within cities can work on providing fundamental infrastructure to democracy, such as housing, inclusive political participation, and innovative environments that can seize the moment and deliver on progress. The speakers will also discuss how urban alliances between cities are a necessary network to make transatlantic partnership more resilient. Join us as we premiere a documentary of urban leaders traveling across Germany and the United States, and then hear from them and the actors they met along the way on why urban progress matters.
